Ballooning and Sydney

We started the day in Cairns with an amazing hot air balloon ride. I’d never been in a hot air balloon before, so I was really excited. What a wonderful, peaceful, meditative way to start the day. The balloon slowly and gradually rose in the air as the sun was also rising. The balloon ride lasted for about 1/2 an hour, and I definitely would like to take a longer ride someday.

After the balloon ride, we headed back to the airport and departed for Sydney. It’s about a 3 hour flight to Sydney. Once we reached Sydney, we had a beautiful dinner cruise in Darling Harbor where we were able to see the infamous bridge and Sydney Opera House. I think this was my moment to pinch myself to prove I wasn’t dreaming. I’m having such an amazing time. But I sure am missing Avery and Evan.
